What happens to your audio

Your audio is processed to create live captions and translations. Interpreter does not save audio, captions, or translations.

We built it this way on purpose. If we don't have your data, we can't lose it.

What we do keep

The basics we need to run the service:

Your email (so you can sign in)
How long your sessions last (so we can bill you)
Payment info (handled by our payment provider, not us)

Medical calls

A lot of our users are medical interpreters. We get it. Interpreter does not save audio, captions, or translations. HIPAA compliant by design.

Cookies

A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in. If you choose Allow analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 on this website. Google receives page-view and browser information and stores analytics cookies, which we configure to expire after 180 days. We remove URL query strings and fragments from the page addresses sent to Google and disable advertising personalization. Analytics does not load before you allow it. Choose Decline analytics to leave it off, or withdraw your permission through Analytics preferences in the footer. Withdrawing turns analytics off and clears this website's analytics cookies. We remember your choice in this browser's local storage. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals also keep analytics off.
